Just a few days ago, ACEA (the European association of automotive manufacturing sector) published a news article that simply says:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIn 2016, 2.2 million more cars were produced compared to 2013, for equal CO2 emissions\u201d.<\/span><\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

What does it mean? <\/span>It means that more cars are produced, but also that less polluting emissions are produced<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Who says that the industry is not sensitive to these dynamics – is simply lying.<\/span><\/p>\n

The proof is in the numbers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Any product for a car has a minimum life of 10 years and a maximum that exceeds 20.<\/span><\/p>\n

This means that today’s choices will have repercussions for the next 20 years.<\/span><\/p>\n

AND SAPA?<\/b><\/p>\n

We are following this trend of deep and concrete attention to the environment:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. We have started the\u00a0<\/span>Biopolis <\/b>project, focused on the <\/span>use of materials derived from recycled material <\/b>or of natural origin, like wood or hemp.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. In 5 years we have installed ove<\/span>r 2,800 square meters of solar panels, <\/b>which feed our production and have produced 337.38 MWh of photovoltaic energy, avoiding the pollution of the air with<\/span> 178.81 tons of CO2<\/b><\/li>\n
  3. The painting line has the <\/span>world’s finest technology<\/b> available for fine dust reduction, and the water used in the system itself is at closed loop and completely sealed off from drainage and groundwater<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. By the end of this year we will complete the complete replacement of Arpaia plant lighting with LED lamps,<\/span> reducing lighting consumption by 59% with a saving of 86.146 kWh \/ year<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
