June 2018: SAPA earns S.p.A. status. A bigger dream for major growth<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

A few years ago, I was at a bar waiting for a friend.<\/p>\n

He was coming from outside, so I decided I would welcome him with a coffee. I started playing with the napkin holder, one of those steel ones that looks like a little box.<\/p>\n

You probably know the feeling, when you\u2019re lost in thoughts, and find something do keep your hands buy too.<\/p>\n

The first napkin had a sentence printed on it that resonated with me. I took it out so I could read it closely, but my friend walked in right at that moment. I just folded the napkin in my wallet and forgot about it.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re probably wondering what was written on that napkin, and why it resonated with me.<\/p>\n

Let me tell you about it.<\/p>\n

A few days ago, my whole family reunited for a very special event.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Everybody was there: me, my mother Dora, my siblings Giovanni and Mariangela. Together, we signed the paperwork officiating that SAPA has now become a Company Limited by Shares<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

On that special day, I found that old napkin crumbled up and read it again:<\/p>\n

To see a world in a grain of sand<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s a quote from an English poet, William Blake, from the 18th<\/sup> century.<\/p>\n

I smiled: that quote perfectly summed up that very brief, but incredibly significant, moment in the history of our company.<\/p>\n

Let me explain.<\/p>\n

As you may know, our company was founded in 1975, thanks to my father, who immediately believed in a big project.<\/p>\n

Sure, it wasn\u2019t easy, but as years went by, SAPA has become an important industrial reality and competitive player in the automotive field.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the last few years, we\u2019ve invested on research, deciding to create a department known as \u201cInnovation Engineering<\/strong>\u201d, allowing us to create, test and try new solutions.<\/p>\n

This is the same department responsible for the One-Shot Method<\/strong>: a patented unique SAPA method for the production of car\u2019s components.<\/p>\n

It is thanks to the One-Shot Method that we were able to transform common car components in what we call \u201cSuperior Auto Parts Always\u201d.<\/p>\n

Why?<\/p>\n

Because our components are the only ones to be:<\/p>\n

  • Lighter<\/li>\n
  • Cheaper<\/li>\n
  • More efficient<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Compared to those manufactured through traditional techniques, SAPA\u2019s components are:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Lighter, resulting in less environmental footprint and no need for later upgrades;<\/li>\n
    • Realized in less steps, saving you a good deal of time;<\/li>\n
    • Realized in a more conscious way, through the use of single pieces, avoiding assembly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Such a method allowed SAPA to get its name out there and win several awards, quickly becoming a benchmark for companies worldwide, working with brands like FCA, Volkswagen, CNH, Porsche and Ferrari.<\/p>\n

      You might be wondering: what does this have to do with becoming an S.p.A?<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Our recent work has confirmed to us what used to be just a wish:<\/p>\n

      SAPA has the potential for an even bigger growth.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      It\u2019s been a while now since SAPA\u2019s adopted consolidated financial statements. An essential tool for transparency when it comes to a company\u2019s work, which is now a pillar of our work method.<\/p>\n

      This even allowed us to win the \u201cIndustria Felix Award<\/strong>\u201d as best female centered enterprise in Campania<\/strong>, collected by my sister Mariangela.<\/p>\n

      Right now, all of the shares are held by our family, as members of the Board of Directors, but you know our effort is not enough.<\/p>\n

      That\u2019s why we believed that SAPA could be a good place for investments: a place for growth, not just for those who planted the seeds, but also for others looking at ours as a benchmark business model.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      We believe in this project and see a world in this tiny grain of sand.<\/p>\n

      I like to believe you might do to, and share this dream with us.<\/p>\n
