The Angelo Affinita Prize is the European competition announced by SAPA with the support of the Angelo Affinita Foundation.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is dedicated to all graduates and near-graduates of the best Italian and European universities with degree courses relevant for the automotive world.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the last few days, we have received a lot of applications for participation and admission to the announcement, which is why <\/span>it was decided to extend the deadline, and thus allow all students to participate.<\/b><\/p>\n

The deadline for submitting your application is Monday, September 11, 2017<\/b>, a week before the Scientific Commission meets to decide which 3 degrees thesis will be able to win a prize pool of 22,000 Euros<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the Angelo Affinita Prize?<\/b><\/p>\n

It is a European competition announcement to award 3 prizes Bachelor’s Thesis, PhD or research project \u00a0addressed to the best graduates and doctorates of the European universities. With the unique opportunity to carry on the research project by working in SAPA.<\/span><\/p>\n

3 prizes will be awarded for a total of 22,000 Euros<\/b> for each Bachelor’s Thesis, PhD or research project. The 3 prizes will be distributed as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n

1\u00b0 prize equal to \u20ac 10.000,00\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

2\u00b0 prize equal to \u20ac \u00a0 7.000,00<\/b><\/p>\n

3\u00b0 prize equal to \u20ac \u00a0 5.000,00\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

The deadline of the competition announcement is set at 31 July 2017. After a period of evaluation of all the theses arrived and complying with the competition announcement, there will be the award ceremony in December of this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

All young graduates and doctorates (or who are currently writing their theses) of all the Italian and European Universities can participate.<\/span><\/p>\n

The prizes will be awarded to the authors of the most innovative Doctoral thesis and PhD thesis applicable to topics related to the following areas:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Automotive Engineering,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Materials Engineering,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Chemical engineering,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mechanical engineering,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Automation Engineering,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Industrial chemistry,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Other technical disciplines related to the Automotive industry<\/span><\/p>\n

For graduation theses, the competition is reserved to the new graduates who have obtained a Bachelor’s degree in disciplines related to the topics of the call between 2015 and 2016..<\/span><\/p>\n

For PhD theses, the competition is reserved for those who have been awarded the title between 2014 and 2016.<\/span><\/p>\n

There will be a special Scientific Committee to judge the best thesis, consisting of three university professors and three expert technicians <\/b>appointed by SAPA, as well as two independent experts nominated by the Angelo Affinita Foundation.<\/span><\/p>\n
