It has been a hectic time for SAPA and me lately.<\/p>\n

From the Angelo Affinita Award, where three young graduate students and their Automotive projects were awarded three scholarships, to the speech of Antonio Affinita, CEO of SAPA, at Confindustria\u2019s Roadshow.<\/p>\n

More events will follow in the future.<\/p>\n

I am proud of the results we achieved concerning research, innovation, growth and challenging entrepreneurship, even if now everything seems to be harder, more competitive.<\/p>\n

We won\u2019t stop here.<\/p>\n

On April 18 and 19, there will be an exclusive talk about the\u00a0One Shot\u00ae<\/strong>\u00a0process at Smart Plastics in Arese. The event is organised by Plast Design and Plast magazine, and entirely dedicated to high-performance polymeric materials.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Our R&D Engineer Alfonso Molaro, from our Innovation in Engineering Team, will give a speech. Designed and created by SAPA, this department is unique among the industrial landscape.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The reason is simple: we produce over 43 million car components every year. It is a vast, significant number.<\/p>\n

Such requests, together with increasingly strict international directives about environment and waste, made us realize that the methodology used was not the best performing.<\/p>\n

Luckily, around 5% of SAPA\u2019s revenues are invested in research and development by a dedicated team (the one I mentioned before) called \u201cInnovation in Engineering\u201d. A unique feature in the industrial landscape.<\/p>\n

Over the years, SAPA specialised towards an all-in-one approach, and ONLY on Automotive.<\/p>\n
